Got LNAPL?
It’s a hot topic these days—the question of how to remove pure product hydrocarbons (a.k.a. “LNAPL” – Light Non Aqueous Phase Liquid) from soil and groundwater seems to be on everyone’s lips. We’re talking about it too—for a number of years, we have been supplying Trap & Treat® BOS 200® for in situ bioremediation of free product found in thicknesses ranging up to 5 feet.
At first, our customers were skeptical. Could a single product really remediate LNAPL? Drawing on RPI Group’s historical success using BOS 200® to remediate dissolved phase contamination in groundwater and soil, they gave it a go. Turns out that BOS 200® works GREAT as an in situ remedy for LNAPL contamination.
