RPI Group Trusted to Work in Yellowstone National Park

RPI Group Trusted to Work in Yellowstone National Park

The RPI Group Companies, including AST Environmental and Alpine Remediation, successfully installed a 215-foot long (65.5-meters) permeable reactive barrier parallel to the Yellowstone River to safeguard the river from petroleum contamination. The RPI Laboratory processed both soil and water samples to support remedial design, post-emplacement characterization, and ongoing performance sampling.

Look at the photo. What a memory. Working along the Yellowstone River, with rolling hills blanketed in lodgepole pines as the backdrop, does it get any better? Yes, it does because you can hear the river’s flow and smell the pines. Nearby, but not too near, bison graze peacefully, showing no concern for our activities or the sound of equipment running.

It is a profound honor and a solemn responsibility to be entrusted with protecting such a national treasure. We thank the National Park Service, USEPA, and the State of Wyoming for trusting RPI Group to work in Yellowstone and protect the Yellowstone River, a vital component of the ecosystem in our national treasure – Yellowstone.

Kind Regards,
